The Problem
Visually impaired individuals struggle to understand their physical surroundings independently. Existing assistive tools are expensive, bulky, or limited in what they can describe.
What We Built
We built a compact AI-powered pendant that uses computer vision and natural language to describe surroundings in real-time audio. It went through 5+ iterations with real SAVH users and is fully open-sourced.
